As a teenager I spent a summer picking grapes in Macon France and Vinningen in Germany. Fast forward 30 years and I still have a love of the whole process of wine production.
Redundancy during the pandemic has been a catalyst for me in pursuing a vocation around my passion for all things wine, something I inherited from my late father. I have now completed the WSET Level 2 qualification, achieving a Merit. In addition, I have been gaining some practical experience working at Aldwick Estate, a’Becketts and Combe Hay vineyards doing canopy work and helping in the grape harvests. I am now starting work in a small independent wine shop.
My website and subsequent videos, blogs etc are all about my passion for wine. I don’t profess to be an expert but hopefully you may find some of my experiences and what I have learned so far interesting as well as some useful wine reviews.
I am on a journey with my love of wine and it would be great if you could join me.
